CCXP EXAM OVERVIEW
The CCXP examination is a computer-based test (CBT) that must be taken in a proctored environment. CCXP exams are administered throughout the year by ISO-Quality Testing, Inc. (IQT). Certification exam sessions are also offered at CXPA events, such as the Insight Exchange. The content of the exam is based on an industry-wide job task analysis conducted by the CXPA in 2013, which identified six competencies for CX.
Registering for the Exam
When you are approved to take the CCXP exam, you will receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org with instructions on registering for the certification exam. The period of time during which applicants are able to test is six months, starting the day your application is approved.
After you register and select a date, time, and location, an emailed admissions letter will confirm the test center details of the exam, and it will deliver your examinee ID and passcode, as well as other important information about the test administration process. You will be required to present this document as you sit for the test, so please print it and keep it safe.
On testing day, you will be asked to confirm your identity by providing a valid photo ID to the proctor, and to place all your belongings in a secure locker before taking the test. You will need to enter your examinee ID and passcode in order to access the exam, so it is essential that you bring your printed admissions letter to the test center. An electronic letter saved on your mobile device will not be accepted.
The CXPA Certification Exam is closed-book, and no reference material and no electronic devices are allowed in the examination site.
The test consists of 70 multiple-choice questions, and two hours are allowed. Your test will be scored immediately. If you pass the exam, you are issued an electronic certificate of your CCXP designation and you can begin using the title and marks associated with it right away.
