I’m excited. I’ve just finished my first eBook: The Beginning of Awesome. Download it, share it, email it, and enjoy it. It’s short, but I said what I felt inspired to. From the Introduction:
Recently, I was asked to speak at a retreat for 8th grade students who would soon be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. Since I am a high school youth minister, I picked a topic that would benefit both the audience and those who will minister to the audience in the future: never-ending formation.
It is a commonly practiced, even if not professed, belief in America that the formation of a “good Catholic” ends with Confirmation. Besides being contrary to the teachings of Christ, this practice is spiritually unhealthy and really no fun at all.
I am writing to young people, to our young Church. Those who work with young people may also benefit from some of the topics I will cover. I know the future leaders of our Church are on fire. Keep it up.
Feedback is welcome (it always is). Thanks for reading!
